Making Love in Public is the funniest romantic
comedy you’ll see this year. The audience laughs for two hours and
leaves holding hands. This very popular play is attracting people who have
never gone to the theatre, and people who had stopped going to the theatre,
along with the usual theater crowd.
It is a play about five couples at a weekend retreat,
so it isn’t surprising that most of the audiences have been made up of
couples.
“I can fret and worry at home. It is nice to be
around people that are happy, smiling, and feeling good. If it is
contagious, I want to catch it,” said an audience member the second night
she saw the show.
“Experiencing a play is like hearing a new song on the
radio. When the song is good, time seems to slow down and we remember
the moment in incredible detail, like who we were with and what we were
doing when we heard it the first time,” says Engela Edwards, one of the
stars of the show.
“Making Love in Public is fun, and filled
with surprises and laughter,” said the co-star and playwright, john daniels,
