“No Strings Attached” plays for two weeks at the Bastrop Opera House.

This musical is based on “Pinocchio,” and the music was written by Bill Francoeur, the same person who wrote the music to the groups last three musicals, “Big Bad Musical,” “Wonderland!” and “OZ!”  The script was written by Patrick Rainville Dorn, an Anglican priest serving a church in Evergreen, Colorado. Fr. Dorn has a MA in Theatre from the University of Denver.  This show is a combined effort of Bastrop Opera House, Bastrop Community Education, and EASY Theatre.  Engela Edwards directs this all adult cast; Richard and Cindy Thompson create the sets; and the members of the cast make their own costumes.  These musical projects have always been successful, with the last show “Oz!” selling out every performance.

This show will perform four public performances, and one free private performance for the Boys and Girls Club of Bastrop.
Public performances are:  May 21, 22, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. and May 23 & 30 at 2 p.m. at the Bastrop Opera House, 711 Spring Street.
