Rehearsals are Thursdays in Austin at Northwest Recreation Center, 2913 Northland Dr. Performance at Dougherty Arts Theatre The show is directed by professional working actors, who are also playwrights and directors with theatre degrees. The same people who cast and direct all the EASY Theatre company shows are working with the youth performers. Engela Edwards
and john daniels, jr.
We are first and foremost teaching directors. We love theatre and performers. It is our goal to transfer a lifelong love of theatre to our students along with the skills they'll need to be successful. We direct the way we would want to be directed. Our company has always been a performers first company. This results in happy performers; and happy performers have fun, work hard, and deliver great shows. Here is one of our past youth theatre projects, some fun kid pics, and Marvelous Matriculation Musical Spring 2006. If you have any questions, email [email protected] or call 512-261-8230. |

That means:
5 weeks of 1-day per week rehearsals, then 1 week off, then 5 more weeks of 1-day per week rehearsals, then 1 week off, then 2 weeks of 1-day per week rehearsals, then 4 weeks (35 days) off for the holidays, and during the final 5 weeks there is 1 dress rehearsal, 3 dress and tech rehearsals, 6 performances, and 2 pickup rehearsals.
