I
need your input now. Send your answers directly to [email protected]
Right now I’m
in the middle of planning for the upcoming year.
I have an sick
relative who I’m going to visit, then I’m going on vacation, then I’ve
got a touring performance of Pruning the Family Tree in Fairfield on Sept
17th. Therefore, classes, workshops, rehearsals, etc. will not start
before the third full week of September. That is the week of Sept.
19.
In the past my
theater classes met a specific day of the week, and I’ve usually had a
waiting list to get in my classes, but I’m planning to add additional days
so that won’t be a problem.
Your input will
help me plan what I offer. You aren’t signing up for anything, but
your information only helps me line up classes if you are seriously considering
this.
So I’d like input
on the following:
A. What
days and times are best for you.
B. Names,
ages, and experience level of all those interested (including adults).
C. I’d
also like to know what interests you. Below you will find a list
of theater classes I’ve taught in the past. Please don’t feel you
need to stick to the list below. I’m open to new ideas. I can’t
offer it all, but I’ll try to offer everything where there is enough interest.
D. Assuming
a monthly payment plan, the maximum you'd consider spending a month.
My group classes cost about $10 per meeting hour.
E. Location:
Generally my classes meet and perform in Central Bastrop and Central Austin,
so let me know if you’re interested in Bastrop or Austin or both.
(Or if you have another space that you'd like to see classes offered.)
F. If you're
interested in a mixed ages class or age specific.
G. If you’re
interested in a specific show, let me know which one. I'm compiling
a list.
H. Do you
feel a free intro class could be useful?
I. Do you
prefer weekly classes or 1 or 2 week workshops?
J. Would
you like to be put on my monthly email theatre newsletter list?
K. Your
phone number and email address!
NOTE: The
Show Classes are my favorite. It is a rehearsal class with
performances at the end of the rehearsal process. It can either be
rehearsed once a week, or done as a one or two week camp experience depending
on the show.
